Established in 2007, the CeCe Schreiber Award is our community’s most prestigious volunteer leadership award, named for one of Hamilton’s most respected and accomplished volunteers.  This year’s award winner is Sandy Morris, who has been a tireless supporter of Federation and many other organizations in our community for decades. The beneficiaries of Sandy’s devotion over the years have included Hadassah-WIZO, Beth Jacob Synagogue, Shalom Village, the Hamilton Jewish Federation and Beth Tikvah.  Sandy has been a champion and passionate advocate for people with disabilities for many years, and Beth Tikvah and Federation’s Special Needs Action Project are close to her heart. A former Women’s Division Campaign Chair for Federation’s Annual Campaign, Sandy has been a member of the Campaign Cabinet for too many years to count. It’s been an honour and privilege to work with Sandy all these years and we can’t begin to thank her for all she has done for our community.
