Please join us as we welcome back member Gloria Geller as she discusses the little known, yet very significant role Jewish farmers and Jewish farm colonies played in western Canada. The role of the Jewish Colonization Association and Baron de Hirsch in offering aid to these farmers will be touched upon. Jewish farmers in other parts of Canada, specifically Ontario and Quebec, will also be considered.
